Before heading off to this year’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, our friends and endorsers Unai Iker and Toni Martinez from Spain made a tourist trip to the Grand Canyon. Of course the boys had their axes with them, well-protected in their HARVEST gigbags.
Thanks for the picture, guys – and have fun at the NAMM!
Louis Post (born 1998) won the „1st internal music contest“ of the „Music School Nadja Schubert“ in Cologne and received a very special prize: a high class leather gigbag for his beloved Fender Jazz Bass sponsored by HARVEST.
Louis is a very talented young musician and currently takes lessons from HARVEST endorser Sascha Delbrouck at the „Music School Nadja Schubert“.
After his graduation diploma in 2016 Louis intends to study the electric bass.
Congratulations on your great success and have fun with your new gigbag, Louis!

HARVEST is proud to welcome spanish guitarist Toni Martinez to the family! Toni was born in 1984 on the small spanish island of Mallorca and got into music at a very young age. At age five he started playing the piano. He played his first gigs and concerts at seven. Around ten he started playing the guitar. At 16 he decided he wanted to get more „serious“ – he wanted to become a musician! At 17 Toni finished his medium grade piano studies and started his modern music official studies at the „Barcelona Modern Conservatory of Music“ where he was tested by „Berklee College of Music“ teachers and got a scholarship for Boston. However, he was not able to make a move for various reasons. Nonetheless Toni started gigging hard within the Barcelona rock and blues scene and quickly drew some attention of musicians and music fans.
In 2014 Toni gained a good reputation through Youtube while he was demoing stuff for Prymaxe Vintage Shop and as an endorser for Suhr Guitars, Wampler pedals, Friedman Amps, Lava Cables, Chris Cambell Strings or Gruv Gear. He has done some packages for the famous website Jamtrack Central as well.
Nowadays he splits up his time by doing demos for different companies, teaching music as well as touring with different international artists such as Gloria Gaynor or Marta Sanchez.

Zed Mitchell is a well-known guitarist from former Jugoslavia who nowadays lives in Germany. Zed has played for stars like Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Eros Ramazotti or Natalie Cole, to name just a few. He also played electric and acoustic guitar for a cd by the world famous Munich Symphony Orchestra – which sold the incredible amount of more than a million copies. Zed also played guitar on the soundtrack to the Hollywood blockbuster „Indiana Jones“ and the Zed Mitchell Band performed as an opening act for artists like Joe Cocker, Santana and B.B. King.
Currently Zed Mitchell and his band have released a new live album by the name of „Zed Mitchell & Band live“ which is available both as DVD and CD. Great musical craftsmanship meets an unassailable lust for playing live. The band has been using HARVEST gigbags and straps for many years!
London-based Paul Turner will be known to most music lovers from his main job: Jamiroquai. Apart from holding down the solid grooves in this sensational world-class band Paul never gets tired of looking for new challenges. Two of his new bands are:
Trioniq – a powerful trio consisting of Rob Harris, Iwan Van Hetten – and of course Paulhimself on bass. The band’s debut album “1” contains five tracks and is available on iTunes. The music is “funky as can be” – make sure to put those dancing shoes on!
The Dark Sinatras are Paul on bass, Mark White on guitar, vocals, drums, piano and vibes, and Eduard Laubinger (drums, piano, trumpet, vibes). The trio plays a mindlowing off-kilter kind of music with heavey rock beats. If you happen to know Paul Turner only from Jamiroquai: get ready for a big surprise!
Harvest welcomes two new endorsers: freelance bassplayer and multi instrumentalist Ben Drummond from the UK (left) as well as russian bassist Max Lakmus who plays for Bi-2 and Lakmus. Welcome to the Harvest family, guys! 🙂
